Helena’s parents Maya and Andrew met in Boston back in 2012. After living in Boston for a few years ago, Andrew took off for a solar job in Africa while Maya moved to Atlanta (with some encouragement from Andrew to expand her boundaries) to pursue a Fellowship in Endocrinology at Emory University. One year later, Andrew moved to reunite with Maya and not lose something good! After living together for a year, buying a house and going on a honey moon (indeed, they don’t usually follow the typical playbook in their lives), they were married in June, 2016 in a beautiful mountain location in Andew’s home state of Vermont. Hard to say exactly when but Helena was conceived very shortly afterwards and now resides in beautiful Grant Park, Atlanta.
Helena’s past times include pooping, peeing, sleeping, finger and hand sucking, crying, and anxiously taking in her surroundings and everything this new world has to offer. Helena marvels at it all and in fact is a marvel herself. She someday hopes to become a dog whisperer who can cure Sherlock of his anxiety. Career wise Helena is focused on urban transportation and solving the Atlanta traffic nightmare with the hopes of getting more quality papa time
